One aspect of faith and being a part of a faith community is using one’s God-given gifts. There are many ways that people can get involved at FaithWorks. The following opportunities are presented to give ideas as to some of the ways people can use their gifts in our community.

  • setting up chairs for worship gatherings
  • running the sound board
  • operating the video projection unit
  • singing, playing an instrument, or creating art for worship
  • serving communion
  • reading scripture
  • making coffee
  • providing snacks
  • donating homemade soup to the soup bank
  • maintaining the website
  • praying for people
  • visiting people who need support
  • teaching Pods (grades K-8)
  • leading the youth group (grades 6-12)

This is not an exhaustive list. We are only limited by our imagination. What are your gifts and how would you like to get involved?

If you are interested in or have questions about any of the roles mentioned (or have ideas for ones not listed), please contact the pastor at the FaithWorks office.
